MG Motor India has unveiled a special limited-edition variant of its popular electric vehicle, the MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition, priced at ₹16.65 lakh (ex-showroom). This exclusive model celebrates one year of the Windsor EV’s success in India, which has already crossed 40,000 units sold since its launch.
Limited Production and Availability
The MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition is strictly limited to just 300 units, making it one of the most exclusive EVs from the brand. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to start from October 15, 2025. Given its limited numbers, the edition is expected to be sold out quickly.
Design and Interior Highlights
The Inspire Edition receives several cosmetic and interior enhancements over the standard model. The exterior features a distinctive “Inspire” badging on the D-pillars and body side mouldings, adding to its exclusivity.
Inside, the cabin adopts a luxurious Sangira Red and black dual-tone leather upholstery, with “Inspire” embroidery on the front headrests. The dashboard and center armrest are finished in black with elegant gold accents, giving the interior a more premium appeal.
Powertrain and Range
Under the hood, the Inspire Edition continues with the same 38 kWh battery pack and front-mounted electric motor seen in the Windsor EV Essence variant. This setup delivers 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, offering a claimed driving range of up to 332 km on a full charge.
It’s worth noting that this edition does not feature the larger 52.9 kWh battery pack offered in the Windsor EV Pro variant.
