Why I Bought the Nexon EV
My daily driving was increasing, and fuel prices kept going up. I wanted a safe, automatic SUV with low running costs. The Tata Nexon EV checked all those boxes, so I decided to take the leap.
Daily Driving Experience
The best part about the Nexon EV is how effortless it is to drive. There are no gear shifts, the acceleration is instant, and the cabin is very quiet.
Driving in city traffic feels much more relaxing than my previous petrol car.
Battery Performance After 3 Years
Many people ask me if the battery has become weak after three years.
Honestly, I haven’t noticed any major difference. The range has reduced slightly, but it’s not something that affects my daily driving. I still comfortably complete my regular trips without worrying about charging.

Charging Routine
Almost all my charging is done at home during the night.
In the morning, the car is ready to go. For longer trips, I use DC fast chargers whenever required. Charging infrastructure has improved a lot compared to when I bought the car.
Running Cost
This is where the Nexon EV really shines.
My electricity cost is much lower than what I used to spend on petrol. Over 60,000 km, the savings have been significant. If you drive regularly, you’ll definitely notice the difference.
Maintenance Experience
Maintenance has been surprisingly low.

What Could Be Better
I would like to see more fast chargers in smaller towns across Bihar.
A little more highway range would also make long-distance travel even easier.

Absolutely.
After three years and 60,000 km, I have no regrets about buying the Tata Nexon EV.
