India’s electric vehicle infrastructure has received a major boost with the inauguration of the largest EV charging plaza in Greater Noida. Developed by Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) in partnership with leading EV charging solution providers, this modern charging hub aims to support the rapid growth of electric vehicles in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Strategically located on the wide 130-metre road connecting Greater Noida and Greater Noida West, the charging plaza offers easy access for daily commuters, commercial fleet operators, and public transport vehicles. The project is part of NPCL’s long-term plan to make Greater Noida a fully EV-ready city.
Ultra-Fast Charging Technology for Quick & Convenient Charging
The new charging plaza is equipped with high-capacity DC fast chargers, offering power outputs of up to 120kW. These chargers can power multiple electric vehicles simultaneously, including cars, buses, and commercial fleet vehicles.
With ultra-fast charging support, most electric cars can achieve up to 80% charge within 45 to 60 minutes, significantly reducing waiting time. Separate charging points are also available for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, making the facility suitable for all categories of EV users.
Designed for Cars, Buses, Fleets & Public Transport
One of the key highlights of this charging plaza is its ability to handle large commercial and public transport vehicles, including electric buses. The facility can charge multiple e-buses at the same time, helping public transport operators maintain smooth and uninterrupted services.
The plaza also supports delivery vehicles, logistics fleets, and ride-hailing EVs, making it a vital infrastructure asset for businesses shifting toward electric mobility.
