E3 Trion Electric Scooter Deliveries Begin October 7: Hyderabad Production Started

Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup E3 Electric.Ai has officially begun production of its E3 Trion electric scooter at its Hyderabad manufacturing facility. Customer deliveries are set to start in batches from October 7, 2026, a date that coincides with the company's second anniversary. The move marks the transition from development and testing to commercial deliveries as the company looks to establish its presence in India's growing electric two-wheeler market.

Production and Testing Milestones

The E3 Trion has undergone an extensive validation programme focused on reliability, safety, and durability under Indian road conditions. The company reports that the scooter completed more than 550 Design Validation Plan tests covering power testing, range testing, and brake-pressure sensor validation. Accelerated durability testing was conducted with a 205 kg payload, along with water-wading tests at depths of 100 mm to 300 mm and heavy rain simulations. A real-world 260 km mixed-terrain route between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal was also used for validation, covering mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients, and rough surfaces.

Three Variants for Different User Segments

The E3 Trion will be offered in three variants — C1, C1X, and C2 — each targeting a specific user group. The C1 is aimed at youngsters, the C1X at families, and the C2 at business users. All three variants will be available in six colour options: Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red, and Luna White. Deliveries will be rolled out in phases.

The C1 variant features a 2.3 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 108 km. It uses a 2.5 kW motor with a claimed top speed of 67 kmph. The C1X upgrades to a 3 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 165 km while retaining the same 2.5 kW motor and 67 kmph top speed. The C2 also uses a 3 kWh battery but offers a claimed range of 128 km, paired with a more powerful 3.5 kW motor and a claimed top speed of 82 kmph.

Ex-showroom prices in Bengaluru are set at Rs 99,999 for the C1, Rs 1,09,999 for the C1X, and Rs 1,19,999 for the C2.

Founding-Owner Benefits for First 100 Customers

The first 100 buyers will form E3 Electric.Ai's founding-owner community. These customers will receive an extended warranty of eight years or one lakh kilometres, whichever comes earlier, covering the battery and key scooter components. They will also get one year of roadside assistance under the company's E3 Wingman programme. The warranty benefit is valued at Rs 6,500 for the C1's 2.3 kWh battery and Rs 8,500 for the 3 kWh batteries used in the C1X and C2.

Technology Platform and Intellectual Property

E3 Electric.Ai says its product development focuses on artificial intelligence-enabled safety systems, predictive diagnostics, connected vehicle technology, modular powertrain architecture, and battery intelligence. The company has secured 14 technology patents and more than 40 intellectual property rights as it develops electric scooters on a modular platform.

With production now underway and deliveries beginning, E3 Electric.Ai enters the commercial phase of its journey in a competitive electric two-wheeler segment that continues to see new entrants and rapid technology evolution.
