TVS Motor Company has expanded its electric scooter lineup in India with the launch of the new TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh variant. The latest version comes with a bigger battery pack, improved riding range, and fresh new colour options for EV buyers.
The new TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh variant is priced at ₹1.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is aimed at customers looking for longer range and better daily usability.
Bigger Battery With Improved Range
The biggest highlight of the new iQube S is its larger 4.7 kWh battery pack. According to TVS, the electric scooter now delivers an IDC-certified range of 175 km on a single charge.
This is a major improvement over the older 3.5 kWh variant, which offered a claimed range of 145 km. With the larger battery, the new iQube S becomes a more practical option for city commuting as well as longer daily rides.
Performance Remains Strong
The electric scooter continues to use the same 4.4 kW electric motor. TVS claims the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, making it quick for urban traffic conditions.
The top speed remains unchanged at 82 km/h, which is suitable for both city and short highway rides.
New Colour Options Added
TVS has also introduced two new dual-tone colour options with this variant:
- Magnificence Purple Beige
- Harlequin Blue Beige
Apart from these, buyers can also choose the Titanium Grey Matte colour option.
The new shades give the scooter a more premium and stylish appearance.
More Weight Due To Bigger Battery
Because of the larger battery pack, the weight of the scooter has increased by around 10 kg compared to the smaller battery variant. However, the additional weight is expected to improve battery capacity and riding range significantly.
